Alignment Session

The Alignment Session is a 2 hours long and begins the coaching relationship or may be scheduled individually for those looking for extra support but not ready for ongoing coaching. Before and during the Alignment Session you will have opportunity to:

  • ask compelling questions about what is happening and what you want right now
  • identify the most critical areas of your life to give attention for maximum impact
  • set real-living, sustainable, "bat-out-of-hell" intentions and goals

The Alignment Session is designed to provide the foundation needed to catapult your life forward!

Results

At the end of the Alignment Session you will walk away with a set of concrete goals, intentions, and focus areas identifying specific actions, activities and behaviors to create your desired outcome.

  • Typically we will design 3-5 high level intentions with 3-5 action or attention areas for each intention.
  • Attention areas may be clearly objective with quantitative measures such as frequency or time or more subjective.
  • Depending on the way the attention area is defined we may use a 1-10 scale with 1 being "not doing at all" and 10 being "doing it completely" to measure how you are doing now and set a desired level for the future.
  • The intention or goal is always stated in the present tense and positive case - as if it were already true.

The supporting actions or attention areas are then monitored and worked on during the coaching relationship. The action and focus areas are created so that when the desired accomplishment level is reached the high level intention will be true.
